The following accounts were taken from reports filed with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

Threat with gun

A Martinez man said he ended up with a 12-gauge shotgun stuck in his face during an argument.

Jacob Martin Gluer, 18, of the 4200 block of Stonemill Court said that Robert Franklin Langford, 20, of the 300 block of Marshall Street in Martinez, wielded the gun.

Langford told police that he had the shotgun with him during the argument about money, but he placed it in the kitchen.

Langford wasn't immediately arrested, according to the incident report, because of conflicting statements. Also, a deputy suspected that Gluer was intoxicated, which Gluer admitted to in the police report.

A deputy said in the incident report that there were no wounds or marks on Gluer, but he did see marks on the left side of Langford's neck and right ear.

Langford later was arrested and charged with simple assault.

Indecent shopper

A Martinez woman shopping at the Martinez K-Mart, 3830 Washington Road, saw a man wearing shorts and a sweatshirt standing in the woman's undergarment section partially exposing himself.

The incident took place May 22, but the woman reported it to police June 6, according to a police report. She said that she didn't want to make a formal complaint, but she did want a written report on file in case it happened again.

DUIs

Troy Alonzo Davis, 22, of the 3800 block of Boulder Creek Road, Martinez, was fined $700.

Sam Dees III, 34, of the 300 block of Mears Street, Evans, was fined $700.

Michael Gowdy, 48, of the 2800 block of Walters Court, Augusta, was fined $700.

James Allen Parks, 32, of the 1500 block of Harrison Road, Thomson, was fined $700.

Alexander Dewayne Smith, 27, of the 500 block of Fairhope Street, Augusta, was fined $77.

Mary Francis Martin, 44, of the 200 block of Shawnee Court, Martinez, was fined $700.

Shelley Renee Jenkins, 25, of the 3400 block of Roy Reeves Road, Thomson, was fined $700.

Matthew Richard Hayes, 17, of the 800 block of Deercrest Circle, Evans, was fined $700.

Randy Lee Harrison, 38, of the 900 block of Blue Jay Road, Harlem, was fined $700.

Laura Leigh Culpepper, 33, of the 900 block of Augusta Highway, Thomson, was fined $700.

Charles Thomas Warren IV, 19, of the 800 block of Windsor Court, Augusta, was fined $700.

Gabriel James Heffner, 27, of the 300 block of Candlewood Drive, Martinez, was fined $700.

Daniel K. Tippit, 47, of the 3200 block of Rosemont Road, Appling, was fined $700.

Steven E. Ebenroth, 31, of the 300 block of Marshall Street, Martinez, was fined $700.

Morris Beasley, 39, of the 500 block of Pine Court, was fined $700.
