Gov. Sonny Perdue signs House Bill 479, which strengthened Georgia's ability to investigate child deaths involving abuse or other suspicious causes. Those attending the ceremony included Superior Court Judge Duncan Wheale (behind Perdue), state Sen. Joey Brush and state Rep. Barry Fleming, who introduced the bill in the State House.
