The following accounts were taken from reports filed with the Columbia County Sheriff's office.

Two Columbia County offenders were sentenced in Superior Court on Wednesday morning.

Kum Ye Starkweather, 48, was arrested at Mona's New Fashion Modeling on Jimmie Dyess Parkway in February and charged with prostitution after she offered an undercover Columbia County deputy sex for money.

Starkweather's attorney presented her guilty plea to Superior Court Judge Albert Pickett on Wednesday because she had moved out of town. Judge Pickett sentenced Starkweather to time served, a year of unsupervised probation and a $1,050 fine.

A former Midas Mufflers employee also was sentenced after a guilty plea to three counts of theft by deception. Jason Gordon Reese entered the Martinez Advance Auto Parts store posing as a Midas employee and charged $758.57 in parts to the Midas account during Masters Week while the owner was out of town.

After Reese pleaded guilty to three counts, Judge Pickett sentenced Reese to pay restitution and a $750 fine in $100 per month installments and three years of probation.

Reese's criminal record, which includes criminal trespass and other theft charges, was divulged in court Wednesday.

"I'll tell you something Mr. Reese, if you don't stop stealing, I am going to put you in the Georgia penitentiary," Judge Pickett said.

Home egged

An Appling woman told police someone had egged her home.

Doris Jean McCladdie, 67, of Appling told officers that someone had thrown eggs at her home. Police noted in an incident report that one egg hit the front porch and two more hit the roof.

McCladdie told police that she is upset because she has to clean up the mess.
