Evans basketball camp
The 12th annual Evans Youth Basketball Camp will be June 2-6, with a second session July 7-11. The camps will be at the Evans High School gym for boys and girls ages 6-14. The cost for each camp is $100, or $85 if the camper brings a lunch from home. The costs include a camp T-shirt and snacks each day. Trophies, awards and certificates also will be presented. Lions football camp
The Augusta Christian Lions Football Camp for players in grades 1-6 will be June 9-13 at Augusta Christian Schools. The noncontact teaching camp will be daily from 8 a.m. to noon. Junior volleyball registration
Beginning Sundays, June 1 through Aug. 3, Augusta Juniors is sponsoring recreational volleyball at 1 p.m. at the Family Y on Wheeler Road. Rising seventh-graders through just-graduated seniors are invited to participate. All interested players will be placed on teams for summer play. The cost is $15 for full members of the Family Y; $20 for bronze members of the Family Y; and, $30 for non-members. Register with Elaine Cupp of Augusta Juniors at the Family Y on June 1. Greenbrier fast-pitch clinic
The Greenbrier Fast-pitch Softball Clinic, for girls in grades 3-8, is June 2-5 at Patriots Park. Clinic times will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. The cost is $85, and $60 for siblings. Team rates are available. T-shirts, snacks and cold drinks are included in the cost. The clinic will provide fundamental drills in batting and fielding, and also will teach game situations. Sure-shot basketball camp
Dates have been announced for the 12th annual Sure-Shot Basketball Camp. The sessions for boys entering grades 6 through 9 will be June 2-6 at Lakeside Middle School, and June 6-9 at Riverside Middle School. Daily camp times will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m., and the cost for each individual camp is $80. The sessions for boys and girls entering grades 2 through 5 will be June 9-13 and July 21-25. Augusta Prep volleyball camp
The Augusta Prep Volleyball Day Camp will be June 9-12. There will be two sessions - one for middle-school players from 8 a.m. to noon, and the other for high-school players from 1 to 5 p.m. The cost is $80.
