Coffee talk

Edward Jones Investment Representative Adam G. Meister is sponsoring a round table discussion of current events, the economy and investing at Serendipity on Washington Road in Evans at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Community concert

The Augusta Children's Chorale, under the direction of Linda Leslie Bradberry, will present The 2003 Community Appreciation Concert Tuesday at 7 p.m. The concert will be held at First Baptist Church on Walton Way. The event is free.

Mother's Day Out

Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic Church on Monte Sano Avenue is holding fall registration for the 2003-04 Mother's Day Out Program for children ages 6 months-4 years on Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at St. Anne's Hall. Family Y swim lessons

Swim lessons are offered from May 26 to July 31, in two-week sessions of eight classes, at the Family Y's pools for babies to 12-year-olds.

Motorcycle ride

Augusta Harley Davidson will play host to the first annual Charity Run for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta on Saturday, May 31. The first bikes will leave at 9 a.m. and the last at 11 a.m.

Mothers Day Out

Lewis Memorial's Mother's Day Out and Pre-School is accepting registration for their fall session. Three- and four-year-olds may attend three or five days a week; two-year-olds may attend two days a week and there's a new program for one-year-olds. The church is also registering students for its summer program that will run from June 3 until June 26 on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday.

Sierra Club

Gwen Wood will discuss what local Greenspace programs offer citizens. The Sierra Club welcomes the public to hear about their Greenspace program at 7:30 pm., on Tuesday at the Unitarian Church on Walton Way Extension. For more information call 863-2324.

Summer enrichment

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church is holding registration for its Full Summer Enrichment Program for 2003. The program cost $50 per week and lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a $5 per-week transportation charge and $20 for before and after care. Care before and after the program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. is $60 per week for each.

Pre-enrichment lasts May 19-30. The program runs from June 2 to July 11. Post Enrichment care lasts July 14-31. It is available to children ages 4-14.
