Junior golf tournament
The 38th annual Sertoma/North Augusta Country Club Junior Invitational Golf Tournament will be June 23-26 at the country club. The 54-hole medal-play event is limited to the first 100 entries ages 13-18 who qualify. The entry fee is $40, which includes a practice round and banquet. Golf academy
Applications are being accepted for the David Usry Junior Golf Academy summer camps at North Augusta Country Club. The program offers a series of three-day camps during the months of June and July, and is open to all juniors ages 7-16. Session dates are: June 10-12; July 1-3; July 8-10; July 22-24; and July 29-31. Daily session times are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program encompasses putting, chipping, full swing, etiquette, rules, equipment, sportsmanship, course management, computer swing development/analysis, and an end-of-the-season junior tournament. Camp costs includes computer swing analysis, a junior golf camp binder, an instructional booklet, a customized golf hat, lunch each day, and the season-ending tournament. Camp of Champions
Lakeside High School's Camp of Champions' for youth basketball players will be May 26-30. Sessions for children in upcoming grades 3-5 will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and sessions for children in upcoming grades 6-9 will be from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for early registration is $60, or $70 on the day of the camp. A camp T-shirt and daily prizes are included. The Camp of Champions teaches skills in all phases of the game. Basketball camp

Volleyball camp
The third annual Greenbrier High School Volleyball Camp will be June 17-20, and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenbrier gym. The cost is $55, and the camp is open for girls in sixth through ninth grades. The camp is limited to the first 35 girls who register. Boys soccer camp
The first annual Greenbrier Boys Only Indoor Summer Soccer Camp will be June 10-12. The camp will run each day from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Greenbrier High School gym, and is open to boys ages 10-14. The cost is $60. The camp is open to the first 25 players to register. The camp, which will be conducted by Greenbrier soccer coaches Alex Heider and Chip Warren, will focus on improvement of individual fundamental skills, team concepts and game situations.
