Gardening at Lunch
The Columbia County Extension Service will hold a lunch seminar on lawn and garden irrigation conducted by Charles Phillips, county extension agent, today. The seminar begins at 12:10 p.m. in the Evans Government Center Auditorium.
Manna truck
The Golden Harvest Food Bank's manna truck will stop at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church on Furys Ferry Road on Saturday at 9 a.m. The free food distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Community concert
The Augusta Children's Chorale, under the direction of Linda Leslie Bradberry, will present its 2003 Community Appreciation Concert on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The concert will be at First Baptist Church on Walton Way. The event is free.
Family Y gymnastics
The Family Y summer recreational gymnastics session is scheduled for May 19 through Aug. 1. The 10-week session features classes for boys and girls from toddlers to teens held once a week in the air-conditioned Wheeler Gymnastics Center, 3532 Wheeler Road.
Coed beginner and intermediate tumbling and trampoline class are available for cheerleaders and rhythmic gymnastics for girls ages 6 to 12.

Mother's Day Out

Family Y offers summer swim lessons
Swim lessons are offered from May 26 to July 31, in two-week sessions of eight classes, at the Family Y's pools for babies to 12-year-olds.

Motorcycle ride
Augusta Harley Davidson will play host to the first annual Charity Run for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta on Saturday, May 31. The first bikes will leave at 9 a.m. and the last at 11 a.m.

Country concert
Blake Shelton, Mark Wills and Rebecca Lynn Howard will perform at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Saturday as part of the Hot Southern Night concert tour.
