Harlem High School will present Footloose on May 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and May 10 at 3 and 7:30 p.m. at the school. Students and faculty members will perform.

Mothers Day Out

West Acres Baptist Church is holding registration for the 2003-04 Mother's Day Out program for children ages 18 months to 4 years. The summer program begins May 20. The church is on Gibbs Road.

Also, Lewis Memorial's Mother's Day Out and Pre-School is accepting registration for their fall session. Three- and 4-year-olds may attend three or five days a week; 2-year-olds may attend two days a week and there's a new program for 1-year-olds. The church also is registering students for its summer program that will run June 3-26 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Summer enrichment

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church is holding registration for its Full Summer Enrichment Program for 2003. The program cost $50 per week and lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a $5 per week transportation charge and $20 for before and after care. Care before and after the program from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. is $60 per week for each.

Pre-enrichment lasts May 19-30. The program runs from June 2 to July 11. Post Enrichment care lasts July 14-31.

The program will include music, reading, Bible study, mathematics, writing, science, Christian values and lots of fun. It is available to children ages 4-14(grades pre-K through eighth).

Chamber gathering

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce's SuCCess Columbia County Style is scheduled for Monday at Rhodes Financial Services on Ronald Reagan Drive. The business after hours event runs from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Grovetown Heritage Festival committee is seeking vendors to participate in the first annual festival May 10. Events will begin at 9 a.m. near Grovetown City Hall and the Grovetown Museum.
