Flea market rescheduled
The Women's Auxiliary annual flea market of the American Legion Post 192, Evans, has been postponed to Saturdaybecause of rain on the original April 26 date. The flea market will begin at 8 a.m. at the legion on Legion Road off Owens and Washington roads in Evans. For more information, call Miriam Stein at 863-7249.
Roar of Love
The Augusta Dance Theatre presents Roar of Love at the Bell Auditorium Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. Tickets for students and seniors cost $10 and adult tickets cost $15. For tickets call 860-1852.

Windermere crafts
Windermere Nursing Home is holding a Spring Craft Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the home across from Doctors Hospital.
The bazaar, which benefits beautification of the Memory Gardens and craft supplies, will include wreaths, baskets, birdhouses, pillows and flower pots.
Dessert and music
The Lakeside High School Chorus will present its Spring Dessert Theater on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Friday at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Each choral group and the Chow Choir will perform before a dessert reception.
Tickets cost $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Children ages 3 and under get in free. For tickets or more information, call 863-0027 extension 224.
Grovetown chicken-que
The Grovetown United Methodist Church is holding its semiannual Chicken-Que on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A plate consists of a half chicken, green beans, cole slaw, bread and tea for $6. Advance tickets can be obtained by calling 863-6355.
The same day, the church's yard sale and bake sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Asthma walk
The American Lung Association of Georgia East Central Region is holding a Blow the Whistle on Asthma walk from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Savannah Rapids Pavilion.

Riverside election
The School Council of Riverside Middle School will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the school gymnasium to elect parent representatives. Any parent interested in running for an office should contact Donald Putnam, principal, at 868-3712 no later than Friday.
Organists to perform
Organists from six local churches will perform to support the Augusta State University Firefighters Scholarship Fund at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. All proceeds benefit the scholarship, which is available to Augusta-Richmond or Columbia County firefighters or their children.

Footloose
Harlem High School will present Footloose on May 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and May 10 at 3 and 7:30 p.m. at the school. Students and faculty members will perform together.

The Family Y is playing host to an open house Camp Lakeside on Clarks Hill Lake on Saturday from 11 a.m. unto 4 p.m.
