Evans High reunion
A reunion for all 1950s graduates of Evans High School will begin at 6:30 p.m. May 17 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion.

Family Y camps

The Family Y is holding five camps for children during Masters Week, Monday through Friday. The camps are Kids' Camp, Teen Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Tubman Camp and Sports Camp. Each camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early drop-off begins at 7 a.m. and late pick-up extends until 6 p.m.
The camps provide children with a variety of games, sports, crafts, activities and field trips. Youth revival
The Youth Department of Mount Enon Baptist Church will hold its annual Youth Revival today through Wednesday, with services beginning at 7 nightly. The Rev. Larry Neal of New Hope Baptist Church will have charge of services Sunday through Tuesday. The Rev. James Freeman of Monetta Baptist Church will be in charge of services Wednesday.
Masters camp
A Masters Week Day Camp will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at Martinez Bible Chapel, 634 Furys Ferry Road, Martinez. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 12. Children will participate in a variety of activities including Bible lessons, puppet shows, sports, leather and wood crafts, archery and BB riflery.
There is no charge for the camp and lunch is provided. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. For more information or to register, call Chris or Debbie at 278-1084.
Fishing tournament
The Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites is holding the 12th annual Parent-Child Fishing Tournament on Saturday on the banks of Mistletoe State Park, Appling. Registration is from 7 to 10 a.m. and weigh-in at 3 p.m.
A $5 entry fee per family is required. All fish count in weighing. All prizes, trophies and awards will be provided. The grand prize is a two-night stay in Mistletoe State Park.
Junior Ranger Program
Mistletoe State Park will host the Junior Ranger Program Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The program, for ages 6-12, introduce children to Georgia's natural, cultural and recreational resources.
Junior Rangers take hikes, see live snakes and learn about Georgia's wildlife. They receive a Junior Ranger handbook and complete activities throughout it. When completed, children receive a Junior Ranger patch.
