Go-cart moved

An Evans woman reported to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office that someone broke a lock securing her go-cart and then moved it in her backyard last week.

Lawn mower stolen

Two men stole a $6,000 lawn mower from a Grovetown woman's yard while she was home.

She told authorities that a man knocked on her front door and rang her doorbell for around 10 minutes last Thursday evening.

According to an incident report, she never answered the door.

When the knocking stopped, she said the man backed a van with a trailer attached into her front yard.

She then saw another man emerge from the side of the house with the Grasshopper mower.
