Vendors needed
The Grovetown Heritage Festival committee is seeking vendors to participate in the first festival May 10. Events will begin at 9 a.m. near Grovetown City Hall and the Grovetown Museum.

Thomson chamber breakfast

The Thomson-McDuffie County Chamber of Commerce and McDuffie Partners for Success are holding a chamber breakfast honoring Kaylee Dean, March of Dimes 2003 ambassador, at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Thomson Depot. Guest speakers will be Pete Michenfelder, Linda Griffith and Pam Dean.
Tickets cost $5 at the chamber and all proceeds benefit the March of Dimes.
I Can Cope
The American Cancer Society's I Can Cope sessions will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Warren Baptist Church on Washington Road. The classes continue weekly through April.

Dance classes
The Columbia County Senior Center at Euchee Creek will conduct swing dance classes during April. Class will be every Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m. The cost is $4 per person. The class will be at the Columbia County Senior Center at Euchee Creek. For more information, call Paul at 650-2396.
Ania fundraiser
The drawing for Budget Sewer and Drain's Million Dollar Shoot-Out for Ania will be Friday at Forest Hills Golf Club.
Five tickets will be drawn for a chance to shoot for a hole-in-one and win $1 million. There is a cash purse of $1,000. Closest to the hole wins $500, then $200, $150, $100 and $50. The actual shoot-out will be April 19 at the 16th hole, measuring 165 yards.

Trash to Treasure vendors wanted
The city of Harlem will hold its second annual Trash to Treasures Market from 8 a.m. to noon April 5 in the vacant lot next to Harlem United Methodist Church on Georgia Highway 78. Registration is being held for vendors. There is no set-up charge to sell.
