A few thoughts on aliens, protests, Democrats

A few recent items struck me as peculiar:

It seems the family of the17-year-old illegal alien who had a botched heart transplant will not return to Mexico for fear they would not be able to return to the United States. Yes, I said illegal alien; her family paid a smuggler to sneak them into this country so they could get free medical help for Jesica. Now of course, the family is suing the doctor and hospital, and will be allowed to remain in this country to press their lawsuit.

Do we really expect C-SPAN to give the patriotic marches across the country the same amount of TV coverage as the anti-war protestors?

State Sen. Don Cheeks greatest sin was switching from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, not his association with a friend or constituent.

A recent flurry of letters seem to be choreographed by our local Democrats. They question President Bushs education (he has a masters degree), his National Guard service (as though he was a draft dodger like Bubba Clinton) and anything else they dont like about him. The bottom line is they havent gotten over the 2000 election. How sad that a once-noble party has become whining left-wingers without visions or goals.
