I wish someone would give me just 10 minutes with all the protest leaders. I would hope to just shake some sense into them. Where are they living? Not in the same world as most of us.

I am a 51-year-old female, and I wish someone would explain to me how getting a woman to join the Augusta National Golf Club will make any difference at all in my daily life.
If the National Council of Women's Organizations Chairwoman Martha Burk has so much free time on her hands, as is apparent, how about working with homeless people, abused or neglected children, low-income families, etc.? What is she thinking? Is she making life better for women, or is she helping the population of Augusta financially?
Nevermind all these other clowns planning to jump on the bandwagon to protest, too. What is their beef? I am sure that I am part of the majority who spend their days worrying about their families, their health and mostly their financial situation - just surviving today's economy. It is beyond my comprehension what the point of all this national focus on a woman joining a private club is all about.
Why do we need Bryant Gumbel doing an HBO special on this triviality? How many woman could afford to join this club or would even care to?
Where is the woman who wants Ms. Burk to get her in? Please someone explain to me why thousands of people and businesses will be hurt financially this year by this woman's obsession. Ms. Burk should find some truly worthwhile cause to put all this time, money and energy into.
