Put to rest accusations toward Cheeks

those who continue to criticize Sen. Don Cheeks, R-Augusta, had the courage to visit his office and talk with him, they would soon know what a sincere and honest gentleman he is. I am fortunate to have him as a neighbor. If he sees a need, he does not wait to be asked; as I know from experience, he graciously provides.

A letter written by a medical doctor concerning the case of Bobby Brassell Jr. should have been sufficient to put the accusations against Sen. Cheeks to rest once and for all. I certainly join Gay Shaw (letter, March 3, "Is attack on Cheeks a coincidence?") in supporting Sen. Cheeks. We are most fortunate to have him as our representative.
