Local man shared same traits as Fred Rogers

n hearing of the death of Fred Rogers (host of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood), my thoughts turned to someone closer to our area who recently passed away and shared many of the wonderful characteristics as those of Mr. Rogers.

This person was Cecil Suggs who, over many years, provided loving and dedicated care to the pets of owners throughout the Augusta area. He was a good and gentle man who treated not only the animals that came into his care with kindness, but also their families - children and adults alike.

Mr. Suggs may not have touched millions throughout the country, but he certainly touched the hearts of the hundreds of loyal customers and friends over the years within the neighborhood comprised of Augusta, Ga.
