vo for your March 10 editorial on the library, "We deserve better."
I hope Augusta officials will now realize that good libraries should be a priority when making choices about funding. Public libraries strengthen our community by encouraging all of us to read and become more informed and better citizens.
More importantly, they do this for our young people. Could there be a correlation with our low academic test scores and our failure to support our libraries?
