protests to be held in Augusta over the Masters weekend should be stopped. An all-male organization has every right to remain that way. And the guests who plan to attend this event should in no way be unconvinced to visit this event. They are paying a dear price already, especially the ones from out of town.
What an impression the likes of the National Council on Women's Organizations Chairwoman Martha Burk and the Rev. Jesse Jackson would give the outsiders of Augusta. Some may decide not to come back.
Augusta's economy needs every break it can get. Civil disobedience should not be allowed, no matter what your thoughts are. The city commission and sheriff should nip this in the bud. These two individuals do not have the right to infringe on others' rights. The majority should rule over two such individuals.
