NCWO tantamount to carpetbaggers

Posted: Monday, March 24, 2003

The carpetbaggers are back, except they are now called the National Council of Women's Organizations. They are armed with laws they have gotten passed and legal attorneys from the American Civil Liberties Union to threaten businesses with needless lawsuits, and a preacher to make it sound right.

It appears to me that they intend to destroy the Augusta National Golf Club and, if they do, then we will be like Laney Walker Boulevard after the riots of the '70s. One curious thing about that riot was that a local radio station, WTHB, unknowingly broadcast every place that the rioters intended to burn and destroy. They were just broadcasting the news. No one wants to put money into that area, even now.

We are inviting business people from all over the world to open up shop here. Now if The Augusta Chronicle, the television stations and local radios give these carpetbaggers prominent coverage, then we can kiss all of our efforts to build industrial parks goodbye.

The NCWO has just lost one of their main cases in the Supreme Court ruling on protesters using RICO, and they are ordered to refund the money. Even the ACLU is smarting from that. This was concerning the abortion picketing issue.
