ADPS doesn't involve itself in politics

March 15, your paper ran an editorial, "Rowland for sheriff." The writer of the article implied our law-enforcement agency hoped that he (Rowland) is elected.

Let me assure you that is far from the truth. Our department does not get involved with politics. Each officer has one vote. On Election Day, the officer can choose the candidate of his/her choice.
