Cut aid to countries that won't help us

I think it is time we remind our "friends," as President George W. Bush said, "You are either with us or against us."

The quickest way to get their attention would be to cut off all funds that we so generously provide to prop up their governments. Too many countries accept our aid and our protection, blackmail us to get what they want, then stick us in the back when we ask for their help.

Those following former British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain's style of a peace plan are leaving the dirty work to the United States and the coalition of the willing.

I pray our government will turn the tables on our so-called friends. President Bush has walked softly long enough. It's time to pull the big stick and put it to use! Even a passionate conservative has a right to his limits. Show them, Mr. President!
