Grovetown defender 'ignorant'

Who is this Edmiston character, and why does he have to horn in on matters that dont concern him?

I speak of David G. Edmiston Sr.s rambling, disjointed letters whenever there is a criticism of Grovetown law enforcement. When I wrote of my encounter with dumb deputies dumb and dumber (http://newstimesonline.com/stories/050502/let_letters_050402_1459_6.shtml), his rejoinder (http://newstimesonline.com/stories/051502/let_letters_051402_1323_4.shtml) was they would still respond if I called 911. Well, duh. We pay them to do that. Or is he not aware?

He then went into what can only be considered some type of pathetic homoerotic fantasy in which he related his fear of having to quail submissively at the sight of my buttocks above him. Bad news: I actually live in Grovetown, and if I were to fulfill his dream and dance naked on the water tower, hed never see it. You see, Edmiston lives near Belair and Interstate 20, miles from the city limits; he couldnt hit Grovetown with a mortar from his house.

Then there was his latest ignorant rant (letter, Feb. 12, http://www.newstimesonline.com/stories/021203/let_letters_021103_1207_4.shtml) against Larry Waks (letter, Jan. 29, http://www.newstimesonline.com/stories/012903/let_letters_012903_1744_6.shtml). I dont know what totalitarian state Edmiston served, but in the American military, the Uniform Code of Military Justice pertains only to members on active duty. Hard to believe he could make E-7 even in 20 years without knowing that.

On the other hand, he doesnt seem to be aware of where he lives, so I shouldnt be surprised.
