AC football All-stars
Four Augusta Christian School football players have been selected to play in the Georgia Independent School Association Coaches Summer All-Star Game, scheduled July 18 at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon.
Ryan Bates, Trey Pitts, Scott Brantley and Matt Lane will represent AC and play for the North squad at the all-star game, which is for recently graduated seniors.
"When they walked off the field for the last time in November, they may have thought their high school careers were over," Augusta Christian coach Bruce Lane said. "Now they have another opportunity to compete as a high school athlete."
