A day at the office

Construction work continues on the new offices of The Columbia County News-Times and the Columbia County Bureau of The Augusta Chronicle. The offices, in Evans Towne Centre plaza on Washington Road in Evans, are expected to open for business March 10, with a public celebration and grand opening to follow soon after. All personnel from the current Columbia Road office of The News-Times and The Chronicle's Columbia County Bureau will relocate to the new facility, and will be joined by members of the newspapers' West Advertising Team that will move from The Chronicle's downtown Augusta offices.
