Editor:
I am the parent of a Columbia Middle School student. I have some concerns about the sexual harassment of the teen-age girls at CMS. It has gotten out of hand and the administrators do not know how to handle these situations.
When a teen-age girls pants are pulled down to her ankles to expose her private parts, I think some type of discipline is in order. In-school suspension is not satisfactory! These teen-age boys are asking the teen-age girls for sexual favors, also.
These incidents have been going on since the first week of school. Does one of the girls have to be raped and assaulted at school for the principal to do anything? I personally do not feel that a woman should be a principal of a middle school. I feel that is a mans place. Teen-agers respect men much more than women.

I am not the only parent concerned for our teen-agers at CMS.
