Cheer clinic

A Cheer Clinic will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Feb. 22 at the Riverside Middle School gym. The clinic, which is sponsored by the RMS cheerleaders is for ages 4-12, and the cost is $25, which includes lunch and a T-shirt. Participants are invited to perform at noon for their parents. Registration form and fee must be returned by Feb. 17 to Amy Steele or Julie Pokrzywinski at Riverside Middle School. For more information call, the school at 868-3714.

Rockers softball

Committed players are being sought to join the Georgia Rockers 10-and-under fastpitch softball team. For more information, contact Tom Tracy at 860-1917.

Rowing season

The Augusta Junior Rowing Association's spring season begins at 4 p.m. Monday at the Boathouse. Prospective rowers will be provided and introduction to the sport and an opportunity to determine if rowing is an activity they wish to pursue. Enrollment is open to all high school students.
