County wins with lawmakers in leadership roles

Kudos to The Columbia County News-Times and staff writer Donnie Fetter in last Wednesdays story, "Local lawmakers take places among GOP Leadership."

Besides being informative, the write-up allowed Columbia Countians to see what our legislators will finally be able to do now that they are part of Gov. Sonny Perdues management team. Our area is truly represented in Atlanta now.

I have seen these gentlemen in action when they were not in power - working for rational economic development, education and improving the quality of life of our community.

I am looking forward to even more exciting things now that these fine legislators are in the states leadership.
