As we begin the year 2003, I want to take this opportunity to thank The Columbia County News-Times for providing excellent media coverage to support our many environmental programs and to recruit outstanding volunteers to make these programs a success.
There are so many individuals and businesses who support our efforts to protect our environment and to keep Columbia County clean and beautiful; to these volunteers, I extend my sincere appreciation.
