Greenbrier fund-raiser
The Greenbrier High School Athletic Boosters will hold a silent auction Feb. 1 as a fund-raiser for the school's baseball program. The booster club is seeking sponsors that are willing to donate items to benefit the auction. Money raised will be used to purchase equipment. Greenbrier's baseball team and band will sponsor the silent auction and spaghetti supper. The supper is from 4 to 8 p.m., and the cost is $4 for adults and $3 for children. The silent auction will be from 6 to 8 p.m. VISA, Mastercard and American Express are accepted at the auction. For more information, call Greenbrier High School at 650-6040.

Wild Thangs softball

Rowing season
The Augusta Junior Rowing Association's spring season begins Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Boathouse. Prospective rowers will be provided an introduction to the sport and an opportunity to determine if rowing is an activity they wish to pursue. Enrollment is open to all high school students. Soccer tournament
The TST 6x6 Popsicle Toes Tournament will be Saturday, Jan. 25 at Citizen's Park in Aiken. Divisions include men's open, and boys and girls in three age groups - high school, under-14 and under-12. The cost is $125 per team, and guarantees three matches for all teams entered. Champions will receive individual awards. Deadline to register is today.
