Old stores disappear, replaced with car dealers

Beautiful Columbia County!
Will it remain beautiful after the conversion of Columbia Square into a car dealership?
In my opinion, that reverses the attractiveness of Columbia County at its entrance. Are there not numerous car dealers in our county? What will it do to them?

I was aghast to see that Roses department store has shut down. I have always enjoyed shopping at both Roses at Kmart. And what happened to Home Folks News & Records, and Sondys Pizza?
