Thanks to passersby for rendering aid after fall

Neighbors! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

On a recent Monday while walking my dog on Holiday Drive in Martinez, I bent down to pick up a blowing newspaper. My knee gave way, and I could not stand up.

A lady stopped her car and tried to help me up. Then a nurse also stopped and tried to help me to my feet. Then, a man named Ron came along, managed to help me up and then helped me back to my house.

These acts of kindness by these three people are greatly appreciated.
