Behavior of few isn't reflective of all students
I am thoroughly upset about Nancy Edenfields Dec. 11 letter in The News Times about the behavior of my peers at the Evans boys varsity basketball game.
Students aren't 'trash,' don't deserve epithets
Re the Dec. 6 Evans vs. Lakeside game, and Nancy Edenfields subsequent letter:
Both high schools participated in trash-talking
I am enrolled in Evans High and I was at the game Friday. Both schools were equal in their taunts.
Letter 'disgraceful' in branding Evans students
Nancy Edenfields Dec. 11 letter, Evans students game taunts "appalling, trashy vs. Lakeside, is disgraceful.
'Low-class insults' didn't just come from Evans
Re the recent letter by Nancy Edenfield: I find it appalling (to use her word) that an adult can label an entire school by what a few teens did at a basketball game. It would seem that Edenfield had an attack of selective hearing during the game. Students tossed low-class insults back and forth throughout the game from both sides of the court.
