Behavior of few isn't reflective of all students

I am thoroughly upset about Nancy Edenfields Dec. 11 letter in The News Times about the behavior of my peers at the Evans boys varsity basketball game.

The behavior of a few people does not reflect the behavior of all the students who attend Evans. There are many students who have composure and maturity when they are at events such as those.

I also would like to point out that Evans students were not entirely at fault. Lakeside participated in their share of rude and vulgar name-calling. The people at Evans have at least admitted they were wrong.

Im sorry, Ms. Edenfield, but you are acting just as badly if not worse than the students involved - and you are an adult.

Before anyone judges us and says we dont have class, take a look that the rest of us who act appropriately and bring pride to our schools name and remember that the name-calling was returned.
