Voters ungodly with failure to back Democrats

Concerning the Nov. 5 election:

God gave Georgia some God-fearing leaders who care about people, like Gov. Roy Barnes, state Sen. Charles Walker, and Sen. Max Cleland, who gave all of his limbs except one arm and never stopped helping his country, yet the voters let them down.

I remember some evil letters where some planned to get revenge on our governor and those who voted with him concerning the Confederate flag. Those of us who say we are God-fearing must do it His way.

Search the Scriptures. He is a spirit (John 5:39, 4:24; Exodus 20:4; Deuteronomy 4:16). And herein do I exercise myself, to always have a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men (Acts 24:16). We remember our history so we will not make the same stupid mistakes. It is not for our revenge; revenge belongs to God. We cannot go forward while looking back. Gods word is a lamp unto our feet (Luke 9:62).

The New Testament abolished the old. They cannot coexist (2 Corinthians 3:6,13,14). Our American flag is not an offense to anyone because it embraces everyone.

Voters may live to regret what they did. But Gov. Barnes and those who could not make their flag sacred can be sure: They did it Gods way.
