Sports jamboree

To celebrate the opening of the LifeCenter at Wesley United Methodist Church, there will be a Grand Opening Sports Jamboree Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be games for adults and children of all ages, such as the Basketball Hot Shot and Volleyball Target Spike. There will be prizes for all children and refreshments. Also, there will be fingerprinting courtesy of the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, while the Martinez Fire Department will have fire safety lessons in its House of Smoke.
