'Yes' vote will encourage growth in Grovetown

I would like to urge the voters of Grovetown to vote yes on Tuesday for the proposed ordinance of drink by the glass.

This ordinance will encourage restaurants and hotels to come to our area, while expressly excluding bars and strip joints

Presently our citys population is about 7,000. The city has approved permits for 850 new homes and our population will be at 10,000 in three to five years. As such, we need growth in our restaurant and hotel venues. The ballot initiative will provide a sound and reliable ordinance to regulate and license this area of business. I would like to encourage and urge your vote for this proposed ordinance.
