The following accounts were taken from reports filed with the Columbia County Sheriff's office.
Bent greens
The eighth hole of a local golf course was damaged this past week when someone driving a golf cart skid and slid all over the greens.
The Club at Jones Creek's Project Manager John Bragdon Grantham told officers $625 worth of damage was done to about 16 feet of the greens. The reports states there are no witnesses or suspects.
Drug fight
A man was chased by three associates who wanted their drugs back.
Terrance Dervarus Moore, 20, told officers he was walking down Johnson Drive in Appling on June 27 when three acquaintances began chasing him, the report said.
The report states Moore told officers the three men threatened to beat him up if he didn't return their drugs. Moore ran inside his home and called the sheriff's department. The suspects left the area before deputies could respond.
Missing little boy
Manny Quinto, of Martinez, told officers someone stole a three foot statue of a little boy from a flower bed in the front lawn of his house located on the 300 block of Westmont Drive.
The reports states the incident occurred between midnight on June 26 and 9 a.m. on June 27.

The Martinez Fire Department responded to the following calls during the week of June 23-29: structure fire, one; vehicle fire, one; controlled burns, two; fire alarms, ten; medical calls, twelve; rescue call, one; investigations, six; public service, two; other, one.
