The summer meeting at the White Oak Camp Ground in Columbia County will be held June 23 through June 30. Services will be conducted under the open-air tabernacle at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily. A barbecue lunch by the plate or by the pound will be held following the morning service June 23rd in the dining hall. The Augusta Museum of History is proud to announce that it will hold the world premiere of the documentary, "Twice a Hero: The Jimmie Dyess Story. Combo tournament jump starts season
Technically it was still spring, but the boys of summer got an early start this month at Patriots Park, where the Columbia County Recreation Department staged machine-pitch and combo-league baseball tournaments.
