Hardy club meets
The Berths Mark Tent will hold its second meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Harlem Library. Members of the Oliver Hardy appreciation club will elect officers and discuss club business.
Council meetings
The school council of South Columbia Elementary School will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the media center to elect another business partner to the council.
The Blue Ridge Elementary School 2002-03 Council will hold its first meeting at 10:30 a.m. June 12 in the media center conference room.
The Riverside Elementary School Council will meet at 8:30 a.m. June 12 in the school cafeteria.
Also, the Martinez Elementary School 2002 Council will hold its monthly meeting at 8 p.m. June 25 in the media center.
Church events
The Bible Cathedral Youth will sponsor a yard sale, car wash and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 1116 Furys Ferry Road, Evans.
Breakfast and yard sale
The Winfield Fire Department will have a breakfast and yard sale at 7 a.m. Saturday at the fire department headquarters at 6285 Cobbham Road, Appling. For more information, call 541-0446.
Revival scheduled
White Rock Baptist Church in Lincolnton will host its annual spring revival at 7:30 p.m. June 10-14.
The Rev. Seymore Harrison, the pastor of Daniel Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Ga., will be the guest minister.
Lifestyle meeting
Health Yourself, a program for people seeking a healthy lifestyle, will be at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Wesley United Methodist Church on North Belair Road.
The one-hour meetings will beTuesday through Aug. 20. The 10-week program costs $15.

Taste of Life program
A Taste of Life, a program to help people lose weight and live healthier, will be offered at 10 a.m. weekly through Sept. 16 at Wesley United Methodist Church on North Belair Road.
The program begins Monday and costs $25. Child care will be available.

CORRECTION
A story in the May 29 editions of The Columbia County News-Times should have said a special election to fill the seat on the Columbia County Commission that Barry Fleming plans to vacate will be held during the primary elections on Aug. 20.
Also, in a story on Sunday about the Greenbrier High School baseball team, Aaron Hill should have been in the list of Wolfpack senior players in 2002.
