Basketball clinic
A basketball shooting clinic is scheduled for June 7-8 at Augusta Preparatory Day School's Boardman Gymnasium. World-class shooting coach Tom Nordland will conduct the clinic, which is open to boys and girls sixth grade or older. The cost is $50 per player, or the $65 price which includes the "Swish" shooting video. The Friday and Saturday clinic features four sessions (9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2-6 p.m. each day). Basketball camp
Final applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The camp is by invitation only. Boys and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply. Past participants include Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Grant Hill and Antawn Jamison. Players from 48 states and seven foreign countries attended the 2001 camp. College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American Team.
