Community meeting
The Springlakes Community Association in conjunction with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office will hold a Neighborhood Watch meeting at the Springlakes Clubhouse on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Various safety issues will be discussed. All Springlakes residents are encouraged to attend.
Time Out
The First Baptist Church of Evans will host Time Out, a monthly "inspirational and lunch" gathering for all that live and work in the community on Thursday, at 11:50 a.m., at the church located at the corner of Belair and Washington roads in Evans. Meeting Announcement
The Columbia County Retired Educators will hold their March meeting March 26, 10:30 a.m., at Phinizy Swamp. Bring a lunch, drinks will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Those who did not sign a release form at the last meeting, please come early. A donation of $3 will be accepted.

Spring Fundraiser
The Lakeside High School Band Booster Club is sponsoring its annual Spring Fundraiser on Friday in the school's commons area from 6 until 8 p.m. The event will feature Mexican cuisine, a DJ and several raffles. Tickets are $5. Take out will be available.
Seminar
Eric Holgate, the pharmacist and owner of DuraMed Medical Supplies, will be holding a seminar entitled, "Happy Hormones and Marriage". The seminar will be March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Bible Cathedral on Furys Ferry Road in Evans. This seminar is open to all ladies. The event is sponsored by Ladies Ministry of Bible Cathedral.

Gospel Singing
The McKameys will be in concert March 28 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church on Columbia Road in Martinez. A love offering will be taken.

There will be a Beginners Internet for Seniors class at the Gibbs Library Wednesday from 6:30 until 8 p.m.
