The Springlakes Community Association in conjunction with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office will hold a Neighborhood Watch meeting at the Springlakes Clubhouse on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Various safety issues will be discussed. All Springlakes residents are encouraged to attend.
The First Baptist Church of Evans will host Time Out, a monthly "inspirational and lunch" gathering for all that live and work in the community on Thursday, at 11:50 a.m., at the church located at the corner of Belair and Washington roads in Evans. The Columbia County Retired Educators will hold their March meeting March 26, 10:30 a.m., at Phinizy Swamp. Bring a lunch, drinks will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Those who did not sign a release form at the last meeting, please come early. A donation of $3 will be accepted.

The Lakeside High School Band Booster Club is sponsoring its annual Spring Fundraiser on Friday in the school's commons area from 6 until 8 p.m. The event will feature Mexican cuisine, a DJ and several raffles. Tickets are $5. Take out will be available.
Eric Holgate, the pharmacist and owner of DuraMed Medical Supplies, will be holding a seminar entitled, "Happy Hormones and Marriage". The seminar will be March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Bible Cathedral on Furys Ferry Road in Evans. This seminar is open to all ladies. The event is sponsored by Ladies Ministry of Bible Cathedral.
