Jana Brooks, the daughter of Carl and Nan Brooks of Harlem, recently earned at 4.0 grade-point average in her first semester at the Medical College of Georgia. She is a student in the School of Radiology.

Greenbrier High School will be having a silent auction and band spaghetti supper Feb. 2. The silent auction will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with the supper being served from 4 to 8 p.m. A live auction also will be offered from 8 to 8:30 p.m. Items up for bid include an Andy Jones vehicle, a hot tub, golf cart, OMNI Health Club membership and more.
