Bible is clear: Stay away from Harry Potter

As Christians, children of God, we are to be set apart. The Bible clearly teaches to stay away from divination, sorcery, witchcraft, fortune-telling, casting spells, consulting with mediums or psychics.

Today, just as always it is not easy to be set apart, and yet it is our calling.

Scripture, the divinely inspired word of God warns us to walk with him and not to imitate the detestable practices of pagans. We are to set our eyes upon what is true, honorable, and right.

To be holy, I choose to follow Christ. I dont want to be eternally separated from the only true God. I chose to walk in obedience to Gods word. (2 Kings 21:2-6), (Deuteronomy 18: 9-14). As a Christian parent it is my responsibility to teach my children to love the Lord our God and walk in his ways.

Gods word is clear: Stay away. So we will not read literature or watch movies that promote activities which God has instructed us as his children to stay away from.

Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the final judge, and the only one I fear.
