The following accounts were taken from reports filed with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

Baseball park damage

Four glass windows were reported broken Dec. 18 at Crawford Creek Baseball Park Complex.

Charles Phillip McCorkle, a Columbia County Roads and Bridges worker, found the damage, which was estimated at $1,200, reports showed. The windows at the 1400 block of Collins Drive apparently were shattered by someone throwing rocks through them, according to records.

The case is considered interference with government property.

Restaurant money missing

More than $400 was reported missing from a store safe at a Martinez Bojangles restaurant Dec. 19.

Christopher Scot Williams, a store manager, said the cash was taken sometime between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m., reports stated.

The case is considered theft by taking.

Motel room theft

A customer of a Columbia County hotel told police Dec. 14 that someone entered his room and took two of his rings.

Neil Braatz said he noticed the rings were missing when he returned to his room at the Econo Lodge on South Belair Road in Augusta, according to department reports. The rings had been left on a travel bag on the bathroom sink.

Records showed that Braatz's room had not been forcibly entered.
