A Christmas story remake
Late March, 01 BC:

A reason to celebrate
Christmas is not just a holiday.

The paper paradigm
In one of the earlier episodes of The Waltons, John-Boys parents, as a special present, gave him a stack of writing tablets and new pencils. He held them in reverent, appreciative awe, and I remember, as an impressionable young teen-ager, knowing exactly how he felt.

Childhood gift provides a lifetime of memories
Jean Honeycutt McCormick was just 10 years old when she discovered what she calls her blessing. It was a talent for sewing that stitched together a special Christmas she remembers, some 67 years ago. And it was giving, not receiving, that made it memorable.

Welcome to the party
I dont know about you, but e-mail is a regular part of my day. Whether communicating with church members, friends across the country or missionaries around the world, I depend upon this form of communication. Almost weekly I receive what I call general messages from various persons. The e-mails origin is usually unknown, but it gets forwarded several times until someone I know sees it, likes it and then decides to send it on to me.

Panthers dominate Pack
Columbia County's public high school students finished their exams on Wednesday afternoon, but the Greenbrier Wolfpack wrestling team took one more test Wednesday night at Lakeside High School.

Gold led Lions to respect
Some of you may not realize it, but Columbia County lost one of its finest coaches last week when Mike Gold was forced out at Augusta Christian.

Old story retold at Augusta Christian
Back in 1979, on a cold December night at Augusta Christian Schools, two high school students had just watched a basketball game and were ready to say goodbye.
