Barry Paschals Oct. 31 column in The News-Times on the life of Lindsey Yeomans was outstanding. We need more news on people who spend a life helping others.

Yeomans hired my grandson, Andrew Mosely, as a Kroger bag boy when he was in high school, along with many other high school boys and girls. Andrew later worked in the video store of Kroger and this work experience handling money helped him get a bank job in Athens where he is a full-time student at the University of Georgia.

The work ethic of Yeomans made a lasting impression on Andrew and he still remembers the help that Yeomans gave him and other young people working at Kroger.

Paschals column made me think of the many people who have helped me in my lifetime.

Thanks for a good article on a man who spend a lifetime helping other people.
