Turkey tips

Need help cooking your Thanksgiving turkey? We asked pupils at North Columbia Elementary School how they would cook it and what they would serve if they were in charge of the holiday meal.

"I have no clue. I would need a recipe book. But I would probably put it in the oven on 575 degrees for two hours. I would serve it with dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes and chocolate cake for dessert."

"I would put in the oven on cook for one hour with some stuffing. I would have green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and chocolate cake for dessert."

"I would clean it first and then dip it in white stuff, put it in the oven and cook it 25 to 40 minutes on 81 percent. With it I would have salad, soup, chicken, broccoli and chocolate cake."

"I would put some flavor on it and decorate it with all kinds of stuff. Then I would put it in the oven for about 10 seconds on about three degrees. I would serve it with beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, macaroni and cheese and for dessert I would have strawberry Jell-O."
