Friends of the Library needs used book donors

This is a big thank you to all Columbia County book lovers who donated saleable books to Gibbs Library. Success has caused Friends of Columbia County Libraries a good problem. We almost ran out of books! We sell books at Gibbs on the first Saturday of each month. On Oct. 6, we sold 800 books for $432 and had only 300 books in stock for the Nov. 3 sale. Our call for community help brought in 1,200 books and on Nov. 3, we sold 900 books for $467.

Our stock of used books is still low and we need more resaleable books for Dec. 1. All Friends income from book sales and membership is used for Columbia County Libraries.
