Marine Corps Reserve Pfc. William T. Baumgartner, a 1997 graduate of Westside High School, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
Marine Corps Pfc. Joseph W. Edge III, a 2001 graduate of Evans High School and son of Norma J. and Joe M. Edge of Martinez, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.
Jennifer Lynn Birnbrich, a 1997 graduate of Aiken High School and daughter of Jeff and Diana Aggas of Aiken, has received her bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Clemson University, S.C., and has been commission as a second lieutenant into the Air Force. She is stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Fla.
