U.S. should back Israel, not 'pander' to enemies

Editor:

I knew it was only a matter of time before the choir boys of the new world order would begin singing for Israel to cough up a Palestin-ian state. It is quite apparent that the WTC and Pentagon attacks will be milked for a host of insidious items most Ameri-cans would otherwise flatly oppose - if only their home of the brave was not being injected with daily doses of unifying fear.

As for the subject of Israel, most of us have heard pastors providing Biblical instructions on the necessity that America stand with Israel if it is to expect blessings (rather than curses) from the true God of the Bible. Hence, if the White House is going to pander to the enemies of Is-rael while insisting that Israel do the same, why bother with asking God to bless America?

The primary reason the U.S. flag is displayed in most of Americas churches is the early church rightly understood that this republic was founded upon Judeo-Christ-ian principles and that it acknowledged the God of the Bible above all others.

Therefore, I cant help but wonder what all the U.S. flag might soon represent, if, among other things, our U.S. government progresses with a policy which not only undermines Americas sovereignty but also Israels.

Wave the U.S. flag all you want, but true American patriotism will be determined by the degree in which you heed these words of Ben-jamin Franklin: They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ...
